Life As It Comes

Today I want to share the shirts my siblings and I have created in memory of my grandfather.  It happened very sudden and it's sad to see him go, but, on a brighter side he's at a much happier place than here.  We designed it and silk screened the shirts in time for the viewing and funeral for all the grandchildren to show some love for our dear loss.  It was suppose to be a secret from the adults but I guess a lil excitement kept it from being a secret.  My parents both wanted one when it was suppose to be only grandkids...but how can you say NO when they really want to be apart of something special like this =)

I bet grandpa would be proud knowing of what we did.  I was touched by family and friends near and far that extended their support as well as their condolences.  It is really the tough times that shows the strong bond that loved ones have for one another that prevails in the biggest obstacles that comes our way.  I know that and have learned to value the moments that we can never replicate throughout time and to always be prepared for the unexpected because time will not wait as Life Comes in whatever form it may be.  I hope it doesn't dampen your mood but instead inspires you to celebrate life which is truly a gift to live and experience life fully with those that surrounds you.  I also included a beautiful sympathy card that was given to me and the stamp happened to be TGF as well.  Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a nice day!

Hello Everyone! It's me again. I was recently given a very shadow wooden box frame, so I decided to put it use. I decided to use my Little Dreamer TGF stamp. I know I used the girl for a card, and now I wanted to use both girl and boy. It was fun to create yet giving that fun challenge at the same time. I hope you all enjoy this little wooden shadow box frame of joy as much as I do!

Geisha Anya

 

Morning!

Above is a card I made using Geisha Anya from TGF for a friend's birthday.  It was so fun using this image and making the cherry blossom theme.  The designer paper are actually washi paper from Hanko's (I have to confess, the washi paper is so pretty and limited that I was hesitant to use it for a very long time...but when its not used it is never appreciated entirely right?).  I also incorporated cherry blossom ribbon and embossed it on the white spellbinder background. Geisha Anya's hair has cherry blossom punches that I have punched out (also from Hanko's) and added a flower gem to give it some dimensions.  The scallop punch on the edge of the card is from the recollections line at Micheal's.  Thanks for stopping by and come back soon for some more awesome shares!

Well, I just couldn't help it, but return to my love of easel post-its. I made two for two good friends of mine, who have two very different personalities, hence, the two difference kind of easels. I used The Greeting Farm Rockstar Anya and Sweet Anya.

Thank You Card

Morning!

I wanted to thank someone for doing something outside of their call of duty and decided to use this card that I made in a workshop and never finished. I decided to use Spotlight Anya and used stampin up punches for the scallop and oval and wrote in "Thank You" that is different from the original card layout. Turned out fine just in time for me so pretty happy about it. Hope it continues to get your creative juices going!

Hello Fellow Crafters,

I recently made this card for a dear friend of mine, who I love so much! I used The Greeting Farm Little Dreamer set stamp for the shooting star, little girl, and "Great Things Will Happen" greeting. This card was a lot of fun, and it came out better than I had hope for, so yes, dreams do come true!!!
