Summer has definitely been here in southern California early! I made this card that is long overdue for Leanne to thank her. I used Summer Fumi here which is so fitting along with the Tiki Surf set from Yumi and Fumi stamps which is now no longer available. I had fun putting together a scene with stickers and a rub on. I used a brown copic chisel tip to dot in the sand surrounding the card. Hope those of you with kids are enjoying it with them off and vacations ahead in full gear!

Challenge #26 - Anything Goes

Hi Everyone!

Happy Sunday!! Did anyone get a chance to check out the new challenge over at Yumi and Fumi yet? It's the ever so popular...ANYTHING GOES!! The challenge ends on October 25th so you still have plenty of time!

What I came up with is a card using the Tiki Surf set. Gave the Tiki Man some googly eyes and popped him up along with the hang loose sign I punched out and edged with brown ink to finish it off.  I also added some brown twine on the bottom. Hope you all liked it and can't wait to see all the awesome creations you come up with!

YFH 1st Birthday Blog Hop~!

Hi Everyone!!

Guess who just turned 1?!? Yumi & Fumi Handmade yay!!! We are celebrating with a blog hop and if you are here from Sparkle Creations then you are in the right spot! Of course there are also prizes to keep the celebration fun so head on to Y&FH to find out more details. Below is a photo inspiration we used to make our cards to share with you today.

 

What stood out to me was the beautiful hues of Fuchsia and Orange!So below was my take at the colors as close as I can. I used orange, white, hot pink (s/b fuchsia), and craft colors for my card. The image is Summer Fumi, their latest release which is available at their online store if you want it!! I also used the Tiki Surf Set to stamp the cute turtle onto Fumi's shirt =D She totally is ready to rock the summer with BBQ's hehe.  Not only is Y&FH celebrating their 1st Year...but they are also having a celebration challenge going on that you should definitely join!
