Onesies & Bibs

Hello There!

I got together with some girlfriends to customize onesies and bibs for a friend that has just given birth to a baby girl named Natalie. I bought a 5-pack from target and my friend picked up 3 plain bibs from another store to make some sets. The ink I used for these was the tuxedo memento stamp pad and copic pens which are permanent and friendly on fabric. This is an all black and white project as it is my first time doing this.  It was awesome how it came out, I am definitely going to do it again trying color the next time.

Here we used Birthday Anya II saying "sprinkle a lil twinkle" and the Hot Air Balloon saying "Be Free" from the Fly Away Set.

I used the fairy set for this saying "My Fairy Princess" and Flutter Anya saying " Sweet Angel"

My friend's new bundle of joy will give her 2 daughters and you know what that means!

This is the back of the onesie at the bottom to spice things up =)

Another reason to smile :)

Here it says "Made For: N.A.N" for her initials in the back =D

This is the quote that I stamped in the back of the onesie hope you can read it.

Here's a yellow bib that I made to match the fairy onsie

This bib is to match the Flutter Anya

After finishing all of it I threw it into the dryer to set the ink kind of like heat embossing so the images doesn't smear or run.  Other materials I used are below:

Chipboard- a size that fits in the onesie for stamping
Acrylic Blocks- for the stamps
Stamps: Build-A-Onesie Girl, Fairies, Fly Away (Retired), Baby (retired), Birthday Anya II, Flutter Anya, and alphabets set.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you are inspired to do some!

Year of the Dragon

Happy New Year!

I am so glad I was able to make this card in time for CNY! I had so much fun doing it and it does really bring out the festivities for the year with it's vibrant colors. I only made one and decided to send it as an e-card sort of thing on facebook to share with everyone lol.  The gold paper is a thin foil like origami paper I got from a gift store. I embossed it with the asian embossing folder sets that goes so well with this. I also used the deckled rectangles large spellbinder for this card.  I colored the images with a edge of yellow where the fireworks are to illuminate the glow that i have picked up from seeing all the wonderful sister stamps card on the blogs ;P The verbiage is in vietnamese which translates "Happy New Year" on the ribbon banner spellbinder that I have used also. Hope you like and thanks for stopping by to be apart of this fun celebration!

I added cherry blossoms onto the girl's dress perfect for the occasion.

Magical Birthday

Hi There!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend as I did. I have a birthday card I have made for my lil cousin to share with you today.  The image is Lillianne from sweet november fairy tales.  The sentiment is from AmyR Magical Wishes Sentiments.  You can find these stamps at www.allthatscraps.com.  I used spellbinders and inked a light pink on the edges to pop on the designer paper. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Isn't her blue eyes just mesmorizing?!

Thinking of You Jan-SSS

Hi There!

Just wanted to share something I made for my Jan SSS Kim Yu! Remember the candle project I did recently? I made a matching card using the "Thinking of You" set from Some Odd Girl.  The theme was "Anything Goes" so I decided to do Valentine's since it's around the corner and Love is definitely in the air =) Materials used were spellbinders, martha stewart punch, and ribbons.

I decided to put white card stock inside the card with heart edges from martha stewart and the sentiment "Thinking of You" from Some Odd Girl.

Here is the embellished candle with a ribbon overlay held together by mono tape. The flowers are layered with brads and glue dots for a 3-D dimension.

Here is the card and candle project side by side ^.^

Fun with Candles!

Hi Everyone!

It has been a crazy start for the work week for me so it was nice to have some craft time with my buddy Leanne today after work.  We wanted to try adding our stamp images onto the candle and let me tell you it is SoOo Fun...and SoOo easy to do!!! I had so much fun doing it that I am looking forward to do more in the nearby future!!! All you need is color pencils, tissue paper, wax paper, a good size candle, and a heat embossing gun!

Above are the products we made and it was in less then 15 minutes!  The colors I used for the skin is tan for the SOG image.

I had so much fun I did a second image with different colors for her outfit, eyes, and hair =)
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have as much fun as I did while learning something new in the craft world as you attempt this!

Sisters at Play

Morning!
I finally got my hands on these adorable Sister Stamps to make this fun 3-tier frame.  It is actually for a buddy of mine Leanne so head on over there for her side of the post and show some love...LOL. The picture below of the whole frame is courtesy of Leanne herself since she did such a great job! The papers I used here are from the DCVW Cafe Mediterranean Stack and Washi paper from Hanko Designs. I used the cutting board to cut the paper to fit the frames. For the inside I traced it with pencil and cut it using an exacto knife which makes it a lot cleaner to mod podge it after.

Picture taken by Leanne

I used Yoko here and the asian embossing folder of water and coy fishes in the background along with bamboos from the pagoda cricut cartridge.

Above, I have a close up so you can see the sentiment I have put on that goes so well with Yoko looking like she's fishing...
Here I have Ayako on a bridge cut from the pagoda as well with cherry blossom embossed in the background.

Doesn't see make you feel like you want to visit the gardens...hehe

Above, I have Miyono holding a lantern trying to depict the full moon festival.  The stringed lanterns and the one Miyono is holding are from hero arts stamps

Here is a close up for the caption
