More Cupcakes!

Hello Everyone!  Happy Wednesday! I just wanted to share today what a friend has made for me.  Isn't she cute?  I liked how she laid out the color schemes and used embossing and edge punches for this card.  The stamp itself is from the greeting farm in digi format.  Hope it itches your crafty side to come out =)

Materials and Supplies for TGF stamps

Hi there! Hope everyone's weekend is wrapping up great!  I just wanted to let the new stampers know that the greeting farm stamps require a permanent ink based and is called "Memento."  This can be found at michael's in tear drop sets of 4 for 9.99.  You can color them with any type of art color pencil or marker but copic markers are the recommended best results for your images.  You can check out "color me copics" for tutorials on how to use these for fabulous results which I follow on my blog! Last but not least, you need to get special (thick) paper that can withhold the ink from copics and to prevent it from bleeding.  I recommend kelly's paper (there's a store location in Rosemead or one in Pasadena) where they have the cheaper alternative for about 15 bucks for a ream of paper (Neenah Paper (green wrapping)) or 32 bucks for the better quality (Neenah Paper in Starwhite).  Any questions let me know.  Hope this was helpful!

Pot Holders

Hello everyone! Have you ever had a pot of hot tea, or plant that needs a little crafty touch? Well, I have finally put my fabric scraps into work, and came up with these really beautiful and functional potholders! I have made several, which I use to place under my pot of tea, for decoration under my potted plants, and even for my hot bowl of soup! They are all made of 100% cotton, and the center part has this special material that oven mitts are made of, which can withstand heat at least up to 400 degrees without worrying about burning those crafty hands of ours! So if you're interested or would like to see them in person, then Join Kathy and I at the Monrovia Family Festival on Friday,Sept.17th! Hope to see you there!

From this pix above, you can see that
I have the pot holders decorated with a circle of hearts and flower yo yos.

This one is my favorite! I also made sets, so one pot holder is with a circle of hearts (above pix), and the other is made with the exact colors but with flower yo yos.

Cupcake Anya

I decided to ink this cutie cupcake anya in time for a birthday!  She was so fun to play with my shading and blending of the hair ;)  You can barely tell but I was happy with the results.  I used stampin up' punches for the borders and spellbinders oval scallops for this layout.  For the tag, I personally wrote it in for personalization =D.  There's glitter for some sparkle but it's not showing up quite well.  Hope you liked it and got some inspiration!!! If you are a crafty addict or want some personalized stuff come by TODAY, Friday 9/3/10 to the Monrovia Farmer's Market from 5-9 and look for us in the middle of the mile long madness!! Make A Scene

Good Morning!  Hope everyone's week is wrapping up nicely towards the weekend!  I have been pretty busy so barely got a chance to post these so will take advantage.  I made this card for a friend of mine that I call Guru because she's such a talented crafter!  I was also able to enter this card into a contest hosted by the Greeting Farm called "Make A Scene" and was thrilled to find out that I won!!!  It was such a fun challenge and I was glad I did it.  I used sakura flower punches for the leaves and cherry blossoms to create this theme.  The sun and grass are punches from stampin up' as well as the tree frame.  I used geisha anya's body and spotlight anya's head for the images alteration from the greeting farm stamps =)  I loved how it all came together...it's just too adorable to not want it...hehe.  Thanks for stopping by!
