BIG 40!

Hi There!

Important celebrations has begun to start for me this spring...and many more on its way~!  My husband's great uncle just had his 40 year anniversary of becoming a priest! What a big milestone right? I was happy to be able to make him a card.  I chose the color green as it represents spring, renewal, and new beginnings. Here I customized Grad Ian into a priest and giving him a bible instead of a scroll =) I used the cricut to cut out the numbers, stamped, and wrote in the rest.  Thanks for stopping by as always!

I got this awesome card made by Kim Yu a while back and wanted to share with you. The colors make such a pretty combo and I like how she flushes the ribbon into the card.  Her shading is oh so fabulous too! Happy First Communion!

Hi There!

I have some dearest cousins getting their first communion so decided to make a special card for a special day like theirs. I used different color card stock just to change it up a bit but everything else is the same.  I used Angel Anya for these cards and created a soft elegance with stampin up DP edged with a flowery border.  I finished it off with the yellow spellbinder banners and writing in the sentiment.

Soccer Ebony

Happy Friday!

I have customized a mug here with ebony/soccer anya =)  The DP was a sheet I bought from Michael's individually.  I used soccer anya's body which is a digi here and ebony's head for this project. Hope you like and have a nice weekend coming!

April Swap from Catarina

I want to share with you my happy mail from catarina for the card swaps that we do through shirl.  The theme was pastel colors or easter in this case.  Catarina made me a butterfly notepad with a post it note inside with a cute matching card.  I am so digging her bows...aren't they fab? She was so sweet that she also gifted me with a new stamp set of hers that is coming out from Docerela Creations. I am so going to use this and rock it in my summer creations! I have some fun 4x4 simple thank you cards that I made to share with you today.  The stamps I used are from sitting lovely, sitting casual, and flutter anya.

Below is Anya from the "Sitting Lovely" set. I learned how to use the Tim Holts distress ink here which you can slightly tell on the spellbinder. It was pretty easy and I love the soft touch that it gives. I finished it off with drawing in a flat surface that Anya is sitting on =)

Here I have flutter anya but decided to leave behind her wings...hehehe. I edged the doily paper with purple ink to pop out more and am pretty satisfied with how it turned out.

And finally...Ian! I masked the couch on a designer paper and loved how that came out. He looks so cute just chilling on that nice comfy couch...lol

I hope everyone had a great week so far welcoming easter! My roll was slowed down a bit due to technical difficulties with our laptop so good thing there is the tablet for backup.  I have an easter ian card to share with you gals today. I used spellbinders for this card for a fast and cute finish.  Hope you like!

Easter Anya

Yep it's me posting again...and I am on a roll =) Here is a card of Easter Anya. I used spellbinders and punches for the most part for this card. Pretty fast and simple. I added the butterflies from the martha stewart punch for the final touch. Hope it gets your easter juices going! Have a nice beautiful Wednesday now!

Easter Fever

Hi Everyone,

I had some time to craft so decided to do an easter card since it's only days away...I used a digi of Easter Anya for this card and tried the knot on the ribbon that I had been seeing around the blogs. It turned out quite nice for a simple and quick card.  I finished it off with a Happy Easter sentiment from a Stampin Up set!
